What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 67 in Cedar Hill, TX on September 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:53 a.m. A Chevrolet Tahoe operated by 48-year-old Ricardo Candanoza collided with a Toyota Tacoma operated by 29-year-old Marcus Emilio Zamora. Police say the Tacoma was stopped in a lane of a traffic with its headlights active and no hazard lights. Candanoza suffered serious injuries in the collision. Zamora was not injured and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
