Donna Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at Business Hwy 83 in Donna, TX on June 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:37 a.m. According to investigators, a truck operated by 33-year-old Freddy Lerma was attempting take a turn into a flea market lot and allegedly failed to yield in the process. The truck collided with a motorcycle operated by 41-year-old Ricardo Torres. Torres suffered fatal injuries in the crash. A passenger in the truck was hospitalized with minor injuries. Police arrested Lerma on a charge of Intoxication Manslaughter. Additional information was not immediately available.
