El Paso Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that killed a person at N Mesa St in El Paso, TX on March 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:11 p.m.  26-year-old male pedestrian Richard Raymond Dimas was reportedly crossing southbound lanes of Mesa St when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene after the collision. Dimas was taken to an area hospital with injuries that he later died from. Additional information was not immediately available.
