Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 71 in Travis County, TX on March 15th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:21 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Tacoma was eastbound on Hwy 71 before veered into a center median and into a barrow ditch. There, reports say the vehicle overturned several times, fatally injuring 21-year-old driver, Jose Carreno. A 22-year-old passenger,  who was not publicly identified, was allegedly seriously injured.
