What Happened

Houston Police have confirmed the death of a motorcyclist in a crash at Beltway 8 in Houston, TX on September 10th, 2021. They say it happened around 1 a.m. A motorcycle operated by 39-year-old Richard Villela was headed eastbound when investigators believe it may have missed an entrance ramp to Beltway 8. The bike is said to have lost control shortly after and struck a curb, the impact ejecting Villela from the bike. He suffered fatal injuries as a result.
