Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 66 in Maypearl, TX on March 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:09 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 56-year-old Arlington man was in a left turn lane to head southbound into a private drive. A Ford Mustang operated by 71-year-old Richard Wayne Blake allegedly traveling into an eastbound lane before striking the left front of the truck. The collision caused the vehicle to overturn off the road, landing on its top side. The collision left Blake with serious injuries, according to police. The other driver was not injured.
