Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-20 and Holland Lake Dr in Weatherford, TX on August 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:17 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 57-year-old Anadarko, TX man reportedly failed to control its speed as traffic slowed, colliding with the rear of a Cadillac Escalade. The impact pushed the Escalade into the rear of a GMC Sierra ahead of it. The driver of the Escalade, 60-year-old Rickey Carns, was seriously injured. The other two drivers were not injured.
