What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at County Rd 128 in Brazoria County, TX on July 2nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:32 a.m. Investigators say a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 20-year-old Ricky Rosas III was headed eastbound on County Rd 128 before it veered from the road into a ditch. The vehicle struck a culvert causing it to overturn into a second culvert and pinning Rosas partially under the vehicle. Rosas was hospitalized with what police say were serious injuries and expressed suspicion of possible alcohol involvement in the crash.
