Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at State Hwy 64 in Rusk County, TX on July 8th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 1:13 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda CR-V headed eastbound is said to have lost control on the wet roadway and hydroplaned into a westbound lane. There, reports say the vehicle collided with an Acura MDX. Reports say the driver of the Acura, identified as 47-year-old Ricky Shires and 55-year-old passenger, Angela Shires, were both seriously injured.
