Police in Arlington, TX, are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on March 22, 2025, at approximately 7:36 p.m. on Interstate 20. Investigators are saying a Ford F-150 was traveling east when it veered out of its lane and struck a parked Mitsubishi 3000GT, causing the Mitsubishi to catch fire. A 22-year-old occupant of the Mitsubishi, identified as Rigo Calzada, sustained fatal injuries. The 25-year-old driver of the Ford sustained minor injuries and was allegedly charged with intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid involving death. Alcohol use, lane departure, and hit-and-run were identified as contributing factors.
