Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Pleasanton Dr in Harris County, TX on January 1st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:12 a.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Grand Cherokee headed eastbound on Forestburg Drive is accused of disregarding a stop sign before proceeding into the intersection with Pleasanton Drive. There, police say the vehicle collided with a southbound Ford Focus, operated by 19-year-old Rigoberto Jaimes. The collision left both Jaimes and a 19-year-old passenger, Jazmine Medina, with injuries considered to be non-life-threatening. The other driver, identified as 52-year-old Abelardo Delfierro, was allegedly uninjured. Sources indicate a Failure to Stop and Render Aid charge was recommended and/or issued against Delfierro.
