What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that injured several people at I-45 and Wilson Rd in Conroe, TX on November 15th, 2021. Police are saying it happened around 6:32 p.m. and involved a tractor-trailer failing to control its speed and colliding with the rear of another vehicle. This created a chain reaction collision involving several other vehicles. 40-year-old Walter Machado and Riley Browder were both serious injuries. Christy Salyards was evaluated for possible injures. The truck driver was also evaluated for possible injuries and issued a citation for Failure to Control Speed.
