Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at Woodway Dr in Houston, TX on October 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by  53-year-old Robert Allen was westbound before a westbound van allegedly collided with the rear of the motorcycle. The motorcycle is said to have lost control in the collision, causing it to veer from the road into a nearby light pole. Allen was thrown from the vehicle as it landed on the nearby sidewalk, causing fatal injuries. The van is alleged to have fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
