What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at TX 114 in Bridgeport, TX on September 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:57 a.m. A  Nissan Titan operated by 59-year-old Robert Anderson was headed eastbound on FM 2123 when it reportedly disregarded a stop sign at the intersection with TX 114 and collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer. Investigators believe that Anderson was ejected from the vehicle in the impact, suffering serious injuries. They allege he was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 34-year-old Granbury man, was not injured.
