Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 287 in Armstrong County, TX on November 4th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:40 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by 67-year-old Robert Charles McGregor was headed westbound on US 287 attempting to pass a second tractor trailer. The second tractor trailer was attempting to change lanes before moving back to an outside lane and slowing down. Officers say the lane change was performed when unsafe, leading to a collision between the first truck and parked tractor trailer in a shoulder. McGregor suffered serious injuries in the collision.. The other driver was not injured.
