What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at St Marys St in Beeville, TX on May 3rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:35 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by Gaylon Ray Neumann was headed northbound approaching the rear of a stopped Ford Ranger. The F-150 is alleged to have collided with the rear of the Ranger under unclear circumstances, pushing into cross traffic. It was struck by a tractor-trailer headed eastbound in the intersection. Police say the drivers of the Ranger and tractor-trailer were not injured. A passenger in the F-150, identified as 75-year-old Rita May Neumann, had injuries believed to be serious in nature.
