Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 190 and Cedar Point Dr in Polk County, TX on June 18th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:15 a.m. A Ford F-250 operated by 86-year-old Robert David Johnson reportedly was performing a left turn into a driveway when it was struck by a commercial truck. The impact caused the Ford to overturn into a ditch. Johnson suffered serious injuries and was cited for Failure to Yield. The other driver was not injured in the crash.
