Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at US 287 in Dallam County, TX on August 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident involved a Chevrolet Malibu operated by 42-year-old Robert Hernandez reportedly crossing a center line while headed south and colliding head-on with a northbound tractor-trailer. Hernandez suffered fatal injuries at the scene. His two passengers were not injured. The driver of the semi-truck, 44-year-old Jennifer Ruddell was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
