What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at Patillo Rd in Marion County, TX on July 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident involved a vehicle operated by 35-year-old Cecil Ray King reportedly collided with 52-year-old Robert James Webster was he was walking along the road. King reportedly fled the scene after the collision and Webster was taken by helicopter to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. King was later arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and murder.
