Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at FM 751 near Quinlan, TX on February 12th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:42 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda CBR motorcycle operated by 29-year-old Robert Smith was headed southbound. At the same time, a Chevrolet Trailblazer operated by 35-year-old Eric Velasquez, was going northbound. Police say the motorcycle failed to yield at the intersection with FM 429, colliding with the Trailblazer. Smith suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Velsaquez had minor injuries, according to police, and was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Additional information was not available.
