Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 237 in Dewitt County, TX on July 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:25 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by 45-year-0ld Robert Thompson was headed northbound on FM 237 at an alleged unsafe speed when it veered from the road at a curve. It then veered into a grassy ditch and overturned into a field. Thompson suffered serious injuries in the crash. Reports indicate a Driving While Intoxicated was recommended and/or issued.
