Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Old McGregor Rd in Woodway, TX on July 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened sometime before 9:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Cadillac SRX operated by 74-year-old Robert Watley reportedly veered from the road for unknown reasons into a group of trees. Investigators expressed belief that Watley may have suffered a medical emergency prior to the crash. Watley was pulled from the vehicle after it caught fire. The vehicle had reportedly not been traveling at a high speed before the collision and fire. Watley suffered fatal injuries in the incident.
