Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 11 in Sulphur Springs, TX on June 9th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:09 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 27-year-old Woodstock, GA man was turning northbound after exiting a private drive when police believe it failed to yield. It collided with a Chevrolet 3500 operated by 69-year-old Robert Wayne Anders, leaving Anders with fatal injuries. The Woodstock man was not injured and cited for Failure to Yield.
