Authorities report a collision that took place at 6:07 a.m. on October 14th, 2024, at the intersection of US 82 and US 37 in Clarksville, TX. A Mercedes-Benz GLC, allegedly traveling eastbound on US 82, is said to have crossed over the center stripe into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with a westbound Chevrolet Silverado C1500, driven by 48-year-old Robert Webster Jr. Police say Webster sustained serious injuries in the crash.  Investigators suspect the driver of the Mercedes, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly intoxicated.
