Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a bicyclist at Horizon Blvd in Horizon City, TX on September 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:48 a.m. According to investigators, a bicyclist was struck by two vehicles under unclear circumstances. Following the collisions, officials say both vehicles fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The bicyclist, 44-year-old Roberto Antonio Fernandez II, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Police later arrested 25-year-old Sofia Gonzalez and 79-year-old Benito Cabrera Licona in connection with the crash. Sources allege both left the scene of the accident and say charges are pending.
