According to investigators, a  Ford Explorer traveling westbound allegedly failed to stop in time and rear-ended a Chevrolet Traverse that was stopped for traffic control.

Officials report that the 55-year-old driver of the Chevrolet, identified as Roberto Zamudio, sustained suspected serious injuries, while two of his passengers, ages 12 and 59, suffered minor injuries.
