Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 515 in Wood County, TX on September 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:26 p.m. A GMC Canyon operated by 68-year-old Roby Ray Benedict was headed southeast on State Hwy 154 when it collided with the rear of a Nissan Altima operated by 32-year-old Michkala Embry. Embry was not injured. Benedict suffered serious injuries when the vehicle lost control and overturned. Investigators suspect that alcohol played a factor in the crash.
