What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that injured at least one person at Illinois Ave in Dallas, TX on August 18th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:24 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Sonata headed northbound is alleged to have failed to yield right of during a left turn. The vehicle is said to have turned into the path of a southbound Chevrolet Equinox, the two colliding at the intersection of Westmoreland Rd. Reports say the driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 32-year-old Rocio Liviano, was seriously injured. A child passenger had minor injuries, authorities say. The other driver, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly seriously injured and cited for Failure to Maintain financial Responsibility.
