What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at TX 176 in Andrews County, TX on November 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:45 p.m. A Ford F-150 operated by 36-year-old Rodrigo Alejandro Espinoza was headed southbound on FM 181 while a tractor-trailer approached westbound on State Hwy 176. Police are saying the Ford failed to yield at the stop intersection and traveled into the path of the commercial struck. It was struck while the commercial truck overturned. Espinoza suffered fatal injuries from the crash. The truck driver, a 58-year-old Madisonville man, was not injured.
