What Happened

Lubbock Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at US 84 in Hockley County, TX on November 11th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. A vehicle traveling the wrong direction is said to have collided with a semi-truck that was unable to swerve in time to avoid the collision. The alleged wrong way driver was identified as 23-year-old Rogelio Juarez, who died at the scene. The truck driver was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
