Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 175 in Kaufman County, TX on July 29th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:36 a.m. A Nissan Sentra operated by 49-year-old Roger Werth Jr is accused of failing to control its speed and colliding with a GMC Sierra operated by 32-year-old Kevin McDonald. Werth suffered serious injuries in the collision. McDonald was not injured. Police cited Werth for Failure to Control Speed.
