What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at Natchez Trail Dr and South Presa St in San Antonio, TX on February 27th, 2025. Police say the incident involved a vehicle losing control on South Presa, colliding with a school zone sign. Officials say a passenger in the vehicle,  identified as 25-year-old Roman Ruiz, was fatally injured. The driver, identified as 27-year-old Tommy Castanon, was hospitalized with serious injuries and allegedly charged on a charge of Intoxication Manslaughter.
