Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-30 near Saltillo, TX on July 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Mack truck-tractor was headed westbound on I-30 when it veered from the road for unknown reasons down an embankment. It went airborne before lending in a creek bed below and crashing head-on in the embankment. The driver, identified as 58-year-old Ronald Ervin, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
