What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 67 in Keene, TX on July 23rd, 2023.  Police say the incident happened around 2:35 p.m. According to investigators, a Lexus RX 350 operated by a 53-year-old Arkansas man was westbound before allegedly crossing into a left turn only lane. The vehicle collided with Toyota Camry int he turn lane and police say its occupants were evaluated for possible injuries. A passenger in the Lexus, identified as 42-year-old Ronald Risen, is believed to have been seriously injured. The Arkansas man also had serious injuries, according to police. Additional information was not immediately available.
