What Happened

Authorities have information on a two-vehicle crash at US 69 in Angelina County, TX on July 9th, 2024. Police are saying the incident happened around 9:40 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Fusion allegedly failed to yield from a stop sign before turning into the path of an approaching southbound motorcycle. Reports say the two vehicles collided, the impact ejecting the motorcyclist from the vehicle. The motorcyclist, identified as 62-year-old Ronnie Anderson, was hospitalized with injuries he later died from. The other driver was not publicly identified and was allegedly uninjured.
