Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at FM 1459 and Goodwin Dr in Sweeny, TX on August 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. A Chevrolet pickup truck towing a trailer was stopped to make a turn into a private drive when it was struck from the rear by a Dodge pickup truck operated by 67-year-old Ronnie Thomas.
