Authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at State Hwy 36 in Fort Bend County, TX on June 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:53 a.m. According to investigators, a Mercedes-Benz GLE was westbound on Hwy 36 before allegedly attempting to travel around a tractor-trailer ahead. In the process, authorities say the vehicle collided head-on with an eastbound Ford Fusion. Sources say 50-year-old Ford passenger, Lorrie Strait, was seriously injured. The driver, identified as 52-year-old Ronny Strait, allegedly had less serious injuries, as did the driver of the Mercedes-Benz. Additional information was not immediately available.
