Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-610 in Houston, TX on February 9th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:35 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord headed northbound is alleged to have veered from the road into a concrete part of the road that was elevated. Following this, police say the Honda struck a patrol unit with active emergency lighting located near a barricade before hitting a barrier and utility trailer. 45-year-old Rosa Trujillo suffered fatal injuries at the scene while a passenger in the vehicle, age 45, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
