Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at State Hwy 7 and Helen Dr in Nacogdoches, TX on August 5th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:49 a.m. A Ford Escape operated by 42-year-old Rosalia De La Luz Patricio Vazquez was reportedly traveling on the wrong side of the road when it collided with a commercial truck and rolled onto its side. Vazquez suffered serious injuries in the crash. The other driver was not injured. Vazquez reportedly told officers that the rising sun impacted her visibility at the time of the crash.
