Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at 11th St in Beaumont, TX on November 14th, 2023. Officials believe it happened around 4:28 p.m. Investigators are saying a Buick Regal headed southbound on 11th St collided with the rear of a Dodge Ram stopped at a red light. The vehicle is also accused of striking a Honda Accord also stopped in a left turn lane. The Buick is said to have attempted a u-turn before traveling across west and eastbound lanes College St. The vehicle lost control and veered into a utility pole, leaving one occupant, 33-year-old Rosendo Fuentes Sr, with fatal injuries. The other drivers were uninjured while a 68-year-old passenger in the Honda had possible injuries. Additional information was not available.
