What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at Loop 336 in Conroe, TX on August 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:45 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle was southbound as a Chevrolet Spark exited a private drive eastbound and attempted to perform a left, northbound turn. Reports claim the Chevrolet failed to yield to the approaching the motorcycle, the two vehicles colliding in the process. Sources indicate 55-year-old motorcyclist, Ross Goethe, was seriously injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and was allegedly uninjured. Officials recommended and/or issued a Failure to Yield Row Turning Left charge against the operator of the Chevrolet, according to reports. Additional inforamtion was not available.
