What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at East End Blvd in Marshall, TX on January 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:05 p.m. According to authorities, a Hyundai Elantra operated by 65-year-old Roxann Marie Lodolce was headed northbound on Hwy 59 in a turning lane to go westbound on Hwy 43. The vehicle began turning west when it collided with a Kia Soul at the intersection. The Kia driver, a 43-year-old Marshall woman, suffered minor injuries. Lodolce was more seriously injured, according to reports. Investigators expressed suspicion that the Hyundai may have failed to yield right-of-way at the intersection.
