Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at Wheatland Rd in Dallas, TX on September 21st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:18 a.m. Officials say a Nissan Altima operated by a 41-year-old DeSoto woman was westbound on Wheatland as a pedestrian was allegedly northbound. Reports say the pedestrian, identified as 46-year-old Roxanne Pennington, allegedly fell into the roadway for unclear reasons before he was struck by the approaching Nissan.
