Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 429 in Kaufman County, TX on October 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:31 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by 56-year-old Roy Shepherd was southbound on FM 429 before leaving the roadway for unclear reasons. Police say the vehicle hit several mailboxes before entering into a barrow ditch. From there, officials say the vehicle traveled across a driveway before hitting a concrete culvert.
