Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at I-30 in Rockwall County, TX on August 13th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer was headed westbound on I-30 before sugaring a tire blowout. Reports say part of the truck was damaged as a result, parts from the truck striking the operator of a motorcycle traveling in an adamant lane. This is said to have caused the motorcycle the veer from the road through cable wires, flipping over the median. The operator, only identified as a 44-year-old Royse City man, was seriously injured, reports say. The truck operator was allegedly uninjured. Additional information was not available.
