What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at State Hwy 6 in Brazoria County, TX on September 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:01 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Frontier operated by 42-year-old Ruben Tzul was headed westbound on Hwy 6 before turning left on County Rd 824. Police allege the vehicle failed to yield and struck an eastbound Nissan van operated by a 38-year-old Alvin man. The collision did not injure the Alvin man or his passengers. Tzul is said to have been seriously injured and officers recommended and/or issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
