What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Telephone Rd in Houston, TX in May 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:30 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado is alleged to have run a red light while proceeding northbound on Telephone Rd. As a result, reports claim the vehicle collided with a second Chevrolet Silverado and Infiniti QX60. Reports indicate the driver of the Infiniti, identified as 44-year-old Ruby Carter Word, required emergency extrication from the vehicle and was hospitalized with serious injuries. The other drivers were allegedly uninjured and a Ran Red Stop Light citation was recommended and/or issued against the driver of the first Silverado.
