Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 59 in Houston, TX on October 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:51 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 2500 was allegedly headed northbound when it ran a stop signal and collided with a Toyota Camry operated by 75-year-old Ruby Rivera. Rivera was seriously injured, according to investigators. The Dodge driver was not injured and officers recommended charges for Running a Red Light, Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a License and Expired Registration.
