Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at County Rd 4212 in Newton County, TX on June 14th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:50 p.m. A Ford Expedition operated by 23-year-old Russell Raley reportedly was traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control at a curve. It then lost control and overturned causing Raley serious injuries. Police indicated that they believed drugs and or alcohol may have played a factor in the crash.
