What Happened

Dallas Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Commerce St in Dallas, TX on October 21st, 2024. Officials say the incident happened around 11:06 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle headed northeast is said to have collided with a Nissan Murano under unclear circumstances. It was suggested by authorities one of the vehicles, possibly the motorcycle, may have disregarded a stop and go signal prior to the collision. The motorcyclist, identified as 24-year-old Rusty Slaughter II, was fatally injured. The Nissan operator, age 35 and not publicly identified, allegedly had minor injuries.
